Jackie Hollywood is a rapper and radio personality from San Francisco, CA. Since she was a young, she knew she wanted to get into entertainment so she made it happen by getting a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University and getting her first internship at KMVQ 99.7 NOW in San Francisco. Her radio career has spanned from the Bay Area to the Central Coast to Phoenix and back, where she has hosted and produced numerous high-ranking radio shows. She’s currently the afternoon jock on KWWV WiLD 106.1 in San Luis Obispo. She’s constantly working on new music and you can find her tracks on any streaming platform you use.
Jackie Hollywood is heavily influenced by the Bay Area's hyphy movement. She started writing poetry at a young age and when one of her poems got published in a book, she knew that she wanted to take it a step further and start rapping. Her hip hop style is mixed with bright pop sounds, which makes it unique, catchy and fun. Jackie has opened up for artists like Riff Raff, J. Stalin and Nef the Pharaoh and always gets the crowd vibing with her personable performances. She fills the room with energy and leaves everyone singing her songs out loud.
Little know fact but Jackie actually has an auto immune disease called IgA Nephropathy or Berger's Disease which is a kidney disease. Jackie reached out to The 6th because of the past work we've done to highlight nonprofits that support those with autoimmune diseases and she hoped to further shed light on these "invisible" illnesses. Through our collaboration, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this limited edition merch will be donated to the IgA Nephropathy Foundation of America, a patient-centric organization focused on finding a cure.
